Ewan Anderson: YORK TREES
Ewan Anderson, cartographer and artist, trained at several universities beginning with Oxford. He holds three doctorates. Over the past decade he has focused upon drawing trees. His father introduced him to the love of trees at the age of six and his mother taught him to draw them. He draws exclusively from nature.
Ewan has exhibited regularly at the Oxford Arts Week. This year one each of his drawings has been acquired by the collections of St Edmund Hall, Oxford and Dulwich College and he has carried out several private commissions.
Ewan is always happy to undertake commissions. His current ambitions are to illustrate a book on English trees and to provide a collection of drawings for an arboretum.
