The Blake Head Bookshop contains thousands of books for all ages and interests. They are especially selected to provide value for money from the smallest paperback to the largest coffee table hardback book. Our stock is updated constantly and most of our books are fifty percent of the recommended price. We have a large selection of books including Children’s, Travel Writing, History, Cookery, Fiction, Biography, Reference, Poetry and Gardening.
We also have a wide selection of traditional and contemporary cards, gifts & wrapping paper.
The Blake Head Vegetarian Café provides an oasis of calm for the keen bibliophile, the occasional browser or the weary shopper. It provides freshly made hot and cold, locally produced vegetarian dishes every day and provides for special dietary requirements for vegans and vegetarians. We also serve a wide selection of coffees & teas, fruit juices and organic wines & beers.
The Blake Head Bookshop is open from 9.00am until 5.45pm Monday to Saturday and 10.00am until 5.45pm on Sundays.
The Blake Head Vegetarian Café, located through the bookshop, is open from 9.00am until 5.00pm Monday to Saturday and 10.00am until 5.00pm on Sundays.
